This is one individual frame out of 254 from my last star trail shoot showing a meteor strike.

I have witnessed bigger and brighter strikes, including a daytime fireball, but this is the largest strike I have manged to capture on camera so far.

I am currently working on the video of the whole sequence but I am having trouble adding music for some reason. If anyone can recommend a good, free video editing program then please let me know. In the meantime you can find my first humble star timelapse attempt here [link]
