That time of the month again. Geez, is this year going quick or what? September already. That means Spring has arrived for me here in the southern hemisphere and that usually means Greg goes into storm mode. Can't wait to get out and hopefully capture some good lightning action.
You should have seen that I just posted a tutorial on the basics of fixed tripod astrophotography and the 600 Rule. This is as thanks to the over 1000 watchers I now have on this site. I hope that you find it helpful. You can find it here [link] if you have not already seen it.
I went on a whirlwind holiday to the state of Tasmania midway through last month. I was immediately smitten with the place and I am already planning a return trip, hopefully early next year. The main purpose of the trip was to hopefully capture my first aurora display, but sadly the sun didn't cooperate with any meaningful solar storms. The weather wasn't the best either with only one nightsky scape opportunity (stay tuned) but I had a great time regardless and I have a few more daytime captures to share over the coming days/weeks. A couple of shots from Tasmania so far......

I am going to feature one artist this month. Addam

Please do check out the rest of Addams work and throw some favs or watches his way. I know he won't disappoint.
I'll once again leave with a bit of shameless self promotion.....
