This has to be one of the best sky displays I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. The day started out sunny (my last sun shot was done about 5 hours before this was taken) but some storms started to roll through in the evening. This storm had just passed through when the setting sun poked its way through some clouds behind me and lit up patches of the storm. I took nearly 200 shots of this display. I might post some more in the future.
11 picture panorama taken with a 50mm lens vertically shooting. The view covers about 90 degrees. Colours are all true to life. No PS manipulation other than stitching the shots together and a slight contrast adjustment to highlight the structure in the clouds.
I hope you like this as much as I do. I think the only thing that could have made this display even more amazing would have been a lightning bolt out of those clouds.
Y'know, as a biology teacher I've been using a variety of your sky and space photographs to teach my high school kids about the forces of nature and space.
Thank you for sharing these pictures *huggles* it made them dream as much as I still do when gazing at your art.
