I love Autumn (Fall). Generally nice crisp clear nights. I have done a few star trails in the past but this is the first I have felt like sharing. If you look hard enough you should be able to make out a very small meteor strike.

This is a stacked image of 291, 30 second exposures.

I am an amateur astronomer and I have to say that this is a really good execution of the classic star trail photo. The first thing that I noticed was the light peaking out of the corner of the photo from the sun. I love the way the stars appear to fade off as they approach it. The second thing I noticed was the composition of the photo. I like how you shot the concentric circles, but I feel that it is too centered on the photo. On the other hand, you would not gotten the glimmer of light in the corner. Everything else about it is simply beautiful. You don't seem to have any noise that interferes with the photo. The colors are simply spectacular as well. Finally, I would like to congratulate you on doing such an amazing job!
