The Southern Ocean pounds relentlessly into the coastal cliffs on the Tasman Peninsular, Tasmania.

Three hour star trail image made from 350 thirty second exposures. The foreground is just an individual frame from the timelapse sequence, as when all the foregrounds were stacked together the constant breaking waves turned the sea completely white. Whilst it looks like the foreground is a daytime exposure it was taken about two hours after sunset and the whole scene is being lit by the light of an almost full moon. The streak running through the center of frame is the International Space Station
