Cradle Mountain in the World Heritage listed Cradle Mt - Lake St Clair National Park is one of the iconic vistas of Tasmania and after visiting there for the first time I can totally see why. Walking around the popular 7 km long Dove Lake circuit track with snow falling all around me was a magical experience and because it was out of season in winter I basically had the whole place to myself. The building on the right is a boat shed that was built in the 1940's.

Managed to get a lucky break in the snow clouds which enabled the Sun to break through and bathe the mountain in a soft golden hour light.
