Cradle Mountain in the World Heritage listed Cradle Mt - Lake St Clair National Park is one of the iconic vistas of Tasmania and after visiting there for the first time I can totally see why. Walking around the popular 7 km long Dove Lake circuit track with snow falling all around me was a magical experience and because it was out of season in winter I basically had the whole place to myself. The building on the right is a boat shed that was built in the 1940's.
I know that these landscape type shots are not my usual thing. I would love to know what you think. Any and all feedback greatly appreciated.
A departure from your usual work. Not a bad thing. In fact, this shot is fantastic! Love the cool to warm gradient across the frame, and the overall exposure. You truly are a photography genius my friend.
Yet another great photo Greg! However, I think I like the other non-panorama one better... the composition on it just seems a little better since there isn't the bright line of water on the left. (That just might be me though!) I really love the colours on this one though; they're not too saturated, which could easily ruin the photo. Wonderful capture!
